switchLanguage for Final Cut Pro

switchLanguage brings back a part of funcionality of the former Finder Info window for Final Cut Pro.
You can select a language setting for Final Cut Pro which is independent from the language settings of your OS.

When the app launches it will check whether Final Cut Pro is active -- in case it is it ask to quit FCP. Pressing the 'Okay' will activate FCP with the dialog whether the current project(s) should be saved -- in case there had been changes.

It will scan the FCP.app content folder and display the current active languages.
There are four options depending on the language settings:

  • Enable - this will enable the selected language.
  • Disable - this will disable the selected language as long as there is at least one language enabled.
  • Enable all - resets language settings to default.
  • Disable other - will enable the selected language, but will disable all others.

To make changes active press 'Change Languages'.

The 'Launch Final Cut Pro' button will re-launch FCP and quit the application.
