stripSRT

stripSRT- a simple and unique tool to clean srt caption files for FCP

It removes html-like formatting flags from SRT files to make them compatible with Apple's Final Cut Pro, Facebook, YouTube etc.

The app's usage is simple. Just drag'n drop 1 ore more SRT files to the app icon. The files will be converted and saved at the same Finder level of the original files. The name will be extended by a "_strip". So for example mySubs.srt will become a mySubs_strip.srt.
Clicking the app icon will open a panel which will allow to navigate to select a file.
