| With OS X 10.2.4 on some machines date and time might be reset to January 1970 after restart. One work around is: turn 'Use a network time server' on. But that can have disadvantages, if synchronisation happens for exampleduring a playout with Final Cut Pro, a video frame might be lost. SyncTime can be added to the 'Login Items' and will open the 'System Preferences' , connect to the choosen 'Time Server', synchronize the time, disable the 'Use a network time server' again and quit the 'System Preferences'. To make this script work, Apple's UI scripting beta must be installed. After installation of Apple's UI scripting beta , open 'System Preferences,' ![]() Click 'Universal Access',
Now you're language script should work. The scripts are supplied as is, no responsibility is taken. System Requirements: Download SyncTime .dmg |
